Central Bedfordshire Council Local Plan
The draft Plan has now been published. This outlines where development is likely to take place over the next 20 years. Here is a link:

The plan provides for 20k – 30k new homes over the next twenty years. The majority of development appears to be via new villages & town extensions. Central Beds Council has stated it will seek to secure a small proportion of development from existing villages – approximately 2k homes.
Out of 9 sites in Haynes put forward by landowners, One site has been identified for development in Haynes. This is a site just over a hectacre described as “South of Northwood End Rd”. It can accomodate 29 homes.
